Digital Currency

In a blog ,titled ; An Open Letter To Nandan Nilekeni,a new concept of DIGITAL CURRENCY was suggested.Here an attempt is being made to expand the idea.
The model is based on virtual money taking over the existing financial system and replacing the paper and plastic currency ,in circulation at the moment.It has a tremendous advantage over the existing money as it could create transparency in all transactions and hence could eliminate corruption which is now effecting all spheres of every day life of people in India and most of the nations on this part of the globe.
The flow chart of this new economic activity is as under ;-
CENTRAL FINANCE GRID ---> STATE FINANCE GRID --->DISTRICT FINANCE CONTROLLER,this controller at district level will have three arms under its control viz:PERSONAL,BUSINESS AND GOVT. the govt. one will be having two categories:STATE AND CENTRAL.The district finance controller will be a Nationalized Nodal Bank,under whose watch full eyes all transactions will take place.
The device employed for monetary transactions will be a mobile phone instrument with some added features and soft-wares.At every level there has to be a fool-proof security code which must be dynamic by nature so that after every transaction it automatically gets locked.
Every time a transaction is done,it will attract, flat 5% as exchange charges of which 1/2 % will go to the Nodal Bank and another 1/2% will be credited to the Operative Bank.This way we can totally do away with the tax regime and at the same time the exchange charges so collected will swell the state and central coffers, at the same time the new finance regime will eliminate tax evasion.CORRUPTION WILL THUS MEET IT'S OWN END.
International trade,Imports and Exports will be routed through Central Finance Grid and activities of money laundering and manipulation of import and export bills will become impossible.People with billions stacked away in foreign Banks will have just one option to bring back the black money or leave,there by get exposed to be tried and punished.
The necessary technology is there ,it needs some,rather quite a lot of guts to take the bull by its horns.TILL SUCH TIME ;-

Common-Man Going For Action

The man in the street welcomes the decision of National convention of Central trade unions to go for country-wide strike on 7th of Sept'10 against unprecedented price rise,rampant violation of Labour-Laws,contractualisation of workforce,disinvestment of profit making public sector and for provisions of universal social security for unorganised sector workers.The convention was also attended by representatives of several independent federations of state and central govt.employees,banks,insurance ,defense establishments and other service sector establishments for all section of workers .
It is unfortunate that despite remaining together in all joint programs and being in agreement to this General Strike,BMS opted out - citing some organisational issues,it is expected that they may extend their support to this people's action.
The present phase is another step by all section of work force in a decade long struggle of united movement,cutting across political divide,against neo -liberal policies,the economic crisis resulting in insurmountable miseries of peasants and workers of our country.If anybody is to be held responsible for this show down, it is the govt. which never once bothered to give its ears to the justified demands of the people,not only it remained unresponsive but it unleashed further sufferings on common man by increasing prices of petroleum products,allowing employers to blatantly violate law of the land.
In such a back ground the call for; GENERAL STRIKE IS AN IMPORTANT STEP IN HEIGHTENING THE UNITED MOVEMENT OF WORKING CLASS OF THIS COUNTRY AND IT MUST CONTINUE TILL THE AGENDA OF LOOT BY U P A UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF M M S IN NAME OF ECONOMIC POLICY IS NOT CHANGED ,THIS POLICY OUGHT BE DEFEATED IF COMMON MAN SEEK RELIEF.
What do you say friends ? will have to take sides,sitting at fence,no more please.

(5) So we are again at what we are best at,CORRUPTION.Do we have a living GANDHARI in Sonia,who could not see beyond Rahul.People debating unbearable living cost due to high prices of essential items,never fail to squeeze out max from the system;now you have this CWG thing,the scam spells -why our nation stands nowhere-when it comes to sporting events.Just like a T.V. serials, corruption in higher echelons has become a daily affair.Entrepreneurial skills of our people must be recognized and awarded,see how conveniently we rob the exchequer and still remain honorable.Is it that the terminally ill case is being treated with sweet homeopathic pills ?

Time To Build An Altogether New Economic System

The setback experienced by socialism earlier and now capitalism coming crumbling down,no wonder that a new economic order will sooner or later replace the present economic applications and create fresh financial regulations globally.Modern day economics has long past the ripple affects and has gone into a turmoil phase.The profit oriented system had technology revolution acting as turboprop to continuously keep the economies of developed nations in a turgid state.It had consumerism at its core fueling the profit centered growth.
Recent developments in Greece and awaiting futures of European Union nations with high budget deficits is bound to have contagious affects due to extended globalized linkages.Lets examine -how it all generated and further what all led to it's sedimentation.The genesis was incubated with advent of Information Technology which had the basis in virtuals,it thrived and flourished on unreal structures -handling out real profits which it was sucking from giant edifices of technological upheaval-a logical conclusion for industrial augmentation in earlier years.The process went on sucking the wealth out from the system and built products around borrowings.Economists,Banks,Govts.Industries and Leaders all got into this web of virtual world and worked head over heals to extract more and more easy money coming in tons of Dollars,pounds and Euros from non-innovations.Crisis erupted and precipitated down as consumerism -a fall out of today's system,created false incomes
premised on loans,it had a limitation and now it can't be stretched any further after having crossed the threshold -there is no stopping.No one can turn the wheel back,the only available option is :throwing the present economic system into a trash can,dumping it in gutter lanes and evolving a better mechanism to give the inhabitants of this beautiful planet a bountiful life devoid of deprivation.An economic tool which provides for genuine and rational profits,sufficient re-deployment of earnings back for realization of futuristic goals of mankind,along with human touch.Need must overtake greed-which has no end.
A Herculean task indeed but then moon like blunders require nothing less than Earthy solutions.Get technology the pink-slip from its position of a master of
human destiny ,and employ it as an obedient and submissive servant.

TRUST - DEFICIT

At a C.I.I. annual meet the beloved P.C. admits of trust deficit by people,should that be my personal computer or could it be the home-minister of the union govt. of India.Well! whatever may be the case the fact remains neither my P.C. nor my home-minister knows whom they represent and who put them in power.Mr.Chidambram along with his crore-pati parliamentarians need not think of all the virtual Indians who for all practical matters remain non existent and continue to applaud rising stock markets and zooming growth figures.
It reminds of two quite silly instances :on one occasion Mr. Rajiv Gandhi very boldly accepted that every rupee sent or meant for development -only 20 paise reaches the project it was in-tented for,and at another point of time Mr.Atal Behari acknowledged that the prices of onions and potatoes in the market have gone up because of hoarders & black marketeers.
What all these three great men missed or deliberately omitted was:as people in-charge of affairs ,it was they who were actually responsible for the mess.What action they intended and what steps they took to correct the situation.Shastri ,Gandhi or Nehru never sounded stupid the way our modern day economist P.M.or a fair skinned lady as super P.M.do today.Mr.Chidambram has on record stated that RED-CORRIDOR is a creation of lack of effective government and this slackness is because of absence of govt. institutions in these areas.
Now the pertinent question arises as to who is responsible for such a situation,can the govts, in power for the last sixty years or so not the real culprits.Then what could be the answer :before taking it up,let some more observations by the home minister be taken note of.He has asked the members of confederation to look beyond profit and loss accounts and not to remain content.Is it not asking wolves to look after sheep ,if non state actors are to do this,then what the govt. is suppose to do.ISSUE ADVISORIES AND BE CONTENT.
So where does all this leaves us :to throw away self- serving politicians,to reject the system of governance which breeds corruption and inefficiency.For any such drastic solution -only two visible options are there.One ,use the power of ballot,two-use bullet what the naxals are doing and thereby threatening our democratic foundations.Option has a very weak chance as the majority of the people have been kept ignorant of their rights and duties beside this the plague of corruption has entrapped most of the state machinery hence free and fair elections in true sense are impossible.
A social- scientist perhaps rightly observed that:a govt. is an organ of oppression and repression-it depends class controls it.Therefore why not raise your class consciousness,search and locate your identity to exert your class interests

' Deprivation ' By Design Or Deceit

Have-ever the intelligentsia attempted to deconstruct the poverty web which entraps millions and millions of our fellow citizens.The founders of this nation deeply desired to provide to it's inhabitants a decent and dignified life,free from
all kind of exploitation,full of end numbers of opportunities.
The private-sector wasn't strong enough to take investment risk in core-sector projects due to their having long gestation period and big capital requirement.Nehru
took up the challenge and we opted and adopted mixed economy,thus the foundation of our public-sector was laid and on whose laurels we remained insulated from recent recession:that same gold-mine is now being put to auction for meeting budgetary deficits.
The fruits of our growth have all been plucked by few hand-fulls,precipitating in the mess we are in today's times and which has become destined fate of a billion people who thought that independence and freedom from foreign yoke will fulfill their dreams of leading a meaning full and vibrant life of humans;these people still hold the country in high esteem of mother goddess.
Why some vested interests raise a hell on subsidies allocated to the down-trodden people,the equal stake holders in country named INDIA,for sustaining life.The same being their right full dues from the society they serve day in and day out.What happens to these same economists when corers of rupees are swindled away by mechanism of exemptions in various taxes and duties,why they keep mum?WHY the children of this great nation still pick rags and remain outside school and education.How come the sons of MOTHER INDIA couldn't find a job despite high sounding growth rate.Can the future super power afford to have its people pushed to the doors of death without medicines along with a robust pharmaceutical industry.POOR INFRASTRUCTURE in metros,inhabitants in cities,towns and villages continue to be denied safe drinking water and all this in a country aspiring a seat at security council:the picture conveys more-rather much more than ever written or talked in media about the incompetency and indifference of political class.
What prevents a farmer to fix the prices of his produce,when businessman can do it,why a worker can't decide the price for his commodity,labour,when the industrialist can do it to his product.why farm production is taken away from its legitimate owner at a throw-away price.An autonomous body is given land in several cities for building stadia in name of promoting sports moreover this body enjoys several tax exemptions,the irretant is that it is not answerable to the people of this country.The elite class remains silent as they appear to be hand and glove with it in murky deals designed for money laundering but when it comes to providing subsidies for food ,fuel or fertilizers every TOM,DICK and HARRY has an editorial to oppose it tooth and nail.
Among so many threats the country is facing as of now-the worst is:loosing adminstrative control of our eastern corridor being under seige of naxal uprising against Govt.of India.The economist P.M.need to tell the nation,when will other segments of society enjoy the right entrusted to them through our constitution,skipping this will not be easy as it will be at the cost of national integrity.Who told the masses that people in politics are corrupt,why you need thousands of corers for general elections every five years.In-action and failure of governance is at the rock bottom and in abscence of effective measures the day is not far off when all will go the dogs,if it already hasn't:a billion mutiny's and a million revolts awaits .Time to get up and start doing what needs to be done.
Is this state of affairs:by delebrate design or is it by default,could it be deceit that deprive country's borders of required number of security personnel,leave of parliament unsecured,helpless aged,uncertain youth,astray childhood and vulnerable women-Will empowered lot do some brooding on this pathetic situation or continue to indulge in same old euphoria of high growth of our economy.Are you hearing,will you act now,KNELL IS CLOSE BY -COULD IT BE FOR YOU OR MAY BE YOUR TURN IS NEXT.
