When GODS failed to create a perfect being, How could Jesus, Mohammad, Budha, Mahavira. Ram or Zoroaster have succeeded. Gandhi, Marx and Martin Luther King had no chance what-so-ever in this grand make over of the faulty creature on this planet, earth. Surprisingly in this mad mad world no dog eats another dog yet man is swallowing down the entire humanity without any satiety. The greed is on and the need has no means. To top it all, it is said to be the most advanced and highly evolved. To him / her all modern marvels are attributed. Be they skyscrapers, Vast Dams, supersonic modes for travel to unknown worlds or timeless communication devices. yes, he/she has done most doables, but will it ever be able to improve upon his ownself and is willing to take up the job of doing the utmost, one that will, at its own, take care of the rest; a weapon of mass destruction of greed – the human greed, the cause of all ills and evils. Talks of religiousity, spirituality and austerity are mere talks and talk is what ? What to talk : Nuclear free world, Environmental protection, hunger, unemployment, safe drinking water, Health issues, National and Racial chauvanism – innumerable subjects, eminent people engaged in endless rounds. Results ? Cipher. No wonder homo sapiens have reduced themselves to a peck of ever salivating wolves. It is perfectly O.K. to save for the rainy day but how, which is a scientific question, can it be called sensible, rational and logical if all are running out of breath for more and more. Thinkers have proclaimed life, to be a bubble not an empty dream, which gives no time to stand and stare the glories of nature in many facets day in and day out. Then why, which is a philosophical question, go for accumulations. And see where we stand as on date. The entire life of man has been bottled, earlier – in several stories Ginnie resided in a lamp or a bottle; once out of it , it was capable of doing all impossible things. The Ginnie is out and all things thought to be impossible are no more so and we find miracle like inventions and innovation around us. The irony is that man is entrapped in the bottle, in childhood it is the milk bottle, you grow up and in adolescence this turns into sweetened coloured liquid bottle, as soon as one starts earning he graduates to a bottle of whisky and in old age the man is solely dependent on Glucose bottle. The development reminds of a short story, perhaps a Russian, one, where an announcement is made : The area covered from sunrise to sunset will be given away as a prize to the one doing so. Huffing and puffing a man, out of his greed, ran nonstop and encompassed an area of several kilometers only to fall dead. He was later burried in a piece of land measuring barely thirty square feet. Visualize the sequence of things that will come in-to play supposing : every person become Gates, Tata or Ambani, all hell will break out. How will assorted, diverse and miscellaneous works in the society will be done, particularly menial sundry job which are all equally important. Precisely scavenging is as important as going to the moon. A peon is as much a must as an officer, or a Head of the country is only as much needed as a sepoy posted under unhabitable and hostile conditions away from his near and dear ones. Contemplate this from another angle so as to have a better and a clearer picture : Are physical, economical, social or cultural requirements of one can be far different from that of another, certainly basic requisites of every man are same. Now look for the answer to question earlier raised, why this greed ? Inspite of all sort of revolutions – industrial, social, technological and communication, man has always been incontinent with regard to his greed and enslaved the fellow-beings, the desire to rule over others and exploit could be traced to ages. No matter how much ignoble it might be. Slavery though has been banned under most constitutions, still it does exist in varring forms and call this neo-slavery if you wish – a modern day curse, a bane of modern day society. Are we ready ? To do away with this criminal instinct, you need to have a plan and consequently an Agenda of action. Here, will is of greatest import – without it the picture will continue to remain grim. Impromtu you can’t achieve any positive results, so all good thinking and concerning people must come together to make the cause not a issue but a movement, a mass movement, cutting across National boundaries and racial prejudices. It is even more important looking to the fact that money can get you a plush apartment in a posh locality but not the pleasure filled life; it can buy best of diamond jewellery but not bestow beauty, it may ensure books on various subjects but not the knowledge; of course, it certainly will buy delicious foods but not the hunger. The much sought riches can neither get a good health not a peaceful sleep. Then, what should be the approach to restore life, way strayed ? One , universal Recognition and acceptance of basic human needs. Two government should make social security mandatory, last but not the least to draw a line which puts upper ceiling on accumulation of money - thereby, bringing an effective check on the greed of man. This way will not only give impetus to the human growth in all spheres, but also at a rate which will be uprecedented in the entire evolutionary history of man kind on this earth. An accommodating, satisfying and an enjoyable life full of quality time for work and play. Accomplish this and man will be God in his own self. The true one.

AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE MEET !

World leaders are meeting at Paris to discuss and debate a non-issue or rather a created one - of climate change and look for unworkable solutions. It has happened earlier, no valid reason why it once again will not be an another fiasco. In any case what is the problem ? Enigma is, our species is too intelligent to live without one or the another and the interesting thing is that we never care for the things staring in our faces. Take for one, Hunger. Are we concerned more than lip service – the same lip job initiated at Denmark, Kyoto will now conclude at Paris or perhaps get our jaws locked in some other world city with more Din in media and more an more money will be pumped into N.G.O’s for still hard breast beating. Of course, this exercise will not go totally in vain, it definitely will help divert attention from more pertinent stakes of mankind, like sitting on the mouth of atomic volcano and not ready to recede. Yet, talking of saving the planet from climatic catastrophe. So, the planet is warming; lot of carbon dioxide, nitrous-oxide and methane the so called green house gases emission is increasing – the ozone layer is depleting and causing climate change. But, change is the law of nature – why not just accept it, as it is. The conspiracy lies elsewhere, with industrial revolution begins the story of energy quest and this energy requirement has kept on increasing to keep enhancing production for growth for living an affluent life to which the developed Wild-West is so accustomed that it has become non viable or unimaginable to do away with it. Chronicle the annals of development : Cold, very cold planet starts cooling – earth becomes hospitable for life, habitable for man. This man on getting hold of energy move out to conquer country after country with the sole idea of getting cheap labour, practically free of cost, looting the natural resources of these enslaved countries for centuries. The so plunged wealth created much more industries back home. Buildings, Roads, Bridges, factories, hospitals, institutions of learning, and a wall street to crumble at their wishes. But, then it also created a demon – the lethargic man, the man of honour and prestige – who belittled every other fellow being. It hurt the pride of this man to live along side of others, it hurt his pride to sit and travel together with other man. Here is the catch, as said Americans have a life style such that if every inhabitant is to live a similar way – we will need three earth like planets to meet the greed. And be for sure after some more years four, five or even six earth like planets won’t be able to cope with this ugly demand of living an awfully filthy rich life style. So be sensible – West willing and live happily hereafter. Thus to restrict the poor or developing countries – their citizenry a dignified life, where they could have safe drinking water, sufficient nutritious food, a roof over their head and finally aspire for life at par with their Western counterparts. Just stop buying this silly propagandist story of climate change which will some day engulf everything !!!!!!!

PRIVITIZATION BY ANY OTHER NAME REMAINS A PRIVITIZATION

Congress started a disinvestment of public sector enterprises in 1991.Later,BJP led NDA government created disinvestment ministry.During 2004 to 2009 ,Congress could’t carry out this process further and had to put aside privatization of national assets due to its dependence on left parties who tooth and nail opposed neo-liberal regime introduced by Dr.Manmohan Singh as finance minister. Now,after being back to power at the center UPA 2 ,having received huge monetary help from private co-operative sector during last general elections ,is initiating disinvestment of PSU’s with a new tag ,’people’s ownership’.Another fanciful term is ,’Participative Development’. PSU’s ownership is with the government ;present government has never acquired this.People’s ownership of these public sector enterprises has been entrusted to parliament through the elected representatives of people of India .’People’s ownership’ is a newly coined blatant lie ,an it is in fact a disguised privatization in a gradual manner .The following table will give a better picture . Share holding of BHEL : Govt. of India - 67.72% Foreign institutional investors-17.03% Mutual funds-5.14% Insurance companies -3.83 % Corporate enterprises- 3.86% Small and retail investors-1.92% Almost similar is the status in NTPC and other blue chip PSU’s. Now the government is making 120 crore people backed Indian parliament subservient to share market so as to sell off national assets to chosen few.What say ?

An Open Letter To Nandan Nilekani

The mother is critically sick and is admitted in Intensive Care Unit of the most famous/ favoured All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Though she is not that old, barely 62, that Doctors say is quite young but then experts have rightly diagnosed her suffering from multiple sclerosis. No drug is reducing her agony, the patient is not responding to any system of treatment. Now that Dr. Mohan Bhai along with Pran + Abb
( Life + Water) and an Italian Expert who acquired all her skills and kills locally in consultation with a young pass out who has yet to establish his credentials in a very competitive socio-politico market, are entrusted with the job to cure her.

Yes, she is not my mother alone of whom I have been discussing – she is your mother and mother of a billion plus Indians. Which of her daughter / son is not aware of her state of health yet every body thinks attending her and having her have a proper prognosis is long overdue. If this procrastination is allowed to stretch any further there are all chances that she might enter a stage from where no miracle will be able to retrieve her. So, every body thought of taking her care, but being a little over worked – as it always happens in all such matters which do not exhibit immediate serving of self interest, whether monetary or otherwise, felt assured that somebody will certainly take care of her. No body actually took this responsibility though anybody could have done this. Thus every body is equally guilty of shifting the socially, culturally, morally and even legally binding duty of taking care of the ailing mother. The pronouncement still not makes somebody to come forward and do what is to be done. Under these circumstances nobody deserves to be called her son/daughter and hence be debarred from any right of inheritance.

To the lowest on the social rung all essential human requirement be provided through service specific coupons. Then we won’t need any subsidies and no more the Govt. Head will merely admit to the fact that only a part of rather a fraction of development money reaches the target, he would then also have the solution with his Govt. Then discrimination whether positive will not be sought as a refuge to inefficiency. Within no time the picture will change – from gloom to boom. India will truly shine and Bharat will not lag behind. Why you need a Govt. and that too a democratically elected one if it can’t facilitate and support the fabric of life of its citizenary. It has to come forward and play a pro-active role in improving the quality of life.

Now the question arises as from where will the resources come. One, all transactions will carry flat 10% transaction charge. Two, unwarranted imports be restricted to the minimum with heavy duties. Any budgeting deficit incurred for creation of wealth or resources will in a very short span give tremendous returns. Given the will it is not a Herculean task, of course , resistance will be from every corner and once initial hurdles are overcome there won’t be any impediment to make this once a great country into an all time great nation.

Money or Maya is otherwise also notional in nature and the numbers are what counts, so why not make nos. the real thing and all other things will automatically start rolling and arranging themselves. Now, in order to put the solution to act in the desired field – What is needed is a team of highly committed and ignited individuals specialising in respective areas viz. I.T. law, Social Scientists, Finance & Banking, Construction, Health, Education etc.

A comprehensively drawn plan could do the magic. Let us evaluate this future scenario. A Govt. building in every village capable of lodging a Doctor, an Agricultural expert, a construction/ building guide, a teacher and security men. Together they will be part of area monitoring and redressal committee along with equal no. of locals to assist them in day to day functioning. All High school aspiratns will have to take six months break to join education corps then alone they be allowed to peruse further education. Education corps job will ensure eradication of illiteracy totally and improve hygiene and sanitary conditions. The entire ploughable land be distributed amongst the resident of the village, together with such land holdings individual stake holders, be clubbed to form a co-operative farming society with shared participatory rights. Farming should be mechanised and spared manual work hours should be utilised in horticultural, floricultural orchard development, animal husbandry, fishery and other rural based economic activities.

For graduating, all enrolled candidates be made to work on a stipend for a year to serve national service corp – which will be entrusted with live rural projects for granting a better life to rural folks. It will, beside uplifting the masses, see that education doesn’t detach people from the soil. Every ten years in service or business all be made to revisit the project areas earlier worked upon.

Elections must be funded by the State and essentially the constituencies be reworked so as to make them truly represent able and the procedure be such that the winner and runner up of first round has to go for the second round thus majority represented leaders will emerge who will not be able to ride an narrow groups enblock thundering the electroal process. Casteism, Regionalism or Communalism will automatically recede to the four walls of citizens dwellings. Right of Rejection must be incorporated.

Dispute redressal has an inbuilt injustice as of today. All litigations could be reduced – remember the old Panch System – 1^st hand hearing of both parties and immediate decision. It might sound highly imaginative , unrealistic and impractical but consider it and the trick will be done.

‘A’ complains they have not received bonus for the year ‘X’. ‘B’ has to respond or ‘C’ complains that he is not getting rent from ‘D’. Does this need months and years to resolve. Kidding. Summary disposal in a single instance is very much possible. Only complicated matters may need time, that to – maximum of two or three dates fixed by the Court. Don’t we see our legal system has turned into a toy, in the hands of law practitioners who keep involving side issues in name of free and fair opportunity. Economic offences are treated like social evils, all dealt quite lightly, taking cue from the lenient approach people are encouraged to neglect financial and monetary responsible behaviour in all their dealings. Adulteration which deserves severest of punishment often goes unrecorded, what to say of non deterance, if it ever meets justice. Charted Accountant – better Accounting firms are under no obligation whatsoever toward society or state, or else how dare they continue to present false testimony to fraudulous balance sheets and non-viable business proposals.

The recent recession has fully exposed the myth of free market economy and entrepreneur skills which all have to- gether robbed masses and nations of their every day oxygen. Globalization has shrinked the world into a village community. Capitalism rests on profit, profit and more profit even if it is on the corpses of Iraqis or Afgans – greed is its sole and only motivator. No body expects a lamb to be fed with chicken but then does it not even deserve grass as to help it grow to its full to serve the lion on its plate. So many NGOs and humanitarian watch dogs – why this obsolete system not be thrown a way into the trash cans. Let all sensible people join hands to come up with a modern day viable answer to the desires of people of all continents irrespective of their colour or race. The crisis arisen provide us with an opportunity and undoubtedly a challenge worth its price, if addressed adequately the solution has tremendous growth camouflaged. It can not only guarantee survival of mankind but also give us all a peaceful happy future where human potentials could be enhanced to unimaginable dimensions. Yes – every time bad times torch us, we look for quick fix remedies. The choice is with us and responsibility is for coming generations.
