CORONA LOCK-OUT

"So no testing! Makes sense for the narrative... One epidemiological model suggests 25000 infections already. Hopkins study categorically, repeat, categorically states lockdown at the time India has done makes marginal difference.

National lockdown never made any sense, now or later. You lockdown clusters and hotspots, not the country. The mantra only is: test, test, detect, isolate, treat.

India, meaning GOI, the Ministry, the NITI, the regime, slept in January and February. Instead of preparing scenarios, action plans, SOPs, reading the big models, listening to the rush of models and research, what were they doing full time: staking everything on Delhi elections, suppressing CAA protests, inflicting violence in JNU, Jamia, UP killings, Delhi riots, MP Govt fall, Trump jamboree visit...Please draw date wise timelines.

Then when States begin their fight against Corona led wonderfully by Kerala, Modi megalomania is bruised. He specialises in milking disasters. So, with zero thought and preparation, he launches the catchy macho slogan. National Lockdown. And everything turns topsy turvy. What was this NDMA doing? Those fellows. After all, the NDM Act was invoked. Where are their studies, models and reports?

The States were responding well. There were barriers and graded lockdowns. There was no panic, little disruption.
In comes Modi, hell comes. 40 crores migrants unhinged. All production, transport, delivery collapses.. and GOI is fiddling with the definition of essential goods. And they didn't know migrants exist. And mandis and rabi crop.

The social distancing achieved by States pre-Modi bullshit was better than what exists today. GOI has forgotten about Stage 3. ICMR not seen much with their funny statements and claims. GOI botched big time.

Conclusion: Hats off to all States and their CMs except the UP CM who too suffers from megalomania and has PM ambitions. Shah not seen or felt. Modi endangers us with every broadcast. The economy is finished. The collateral misery is already accomplished. Now if India escapes the wrath of corona, or the damage is not collosal, we should thank: the States for great work; the heat factor; the lower transmission rate of the virus; herd immunity; the throw of the dice and luck.

And if we are still fools enough to give tick marks to Modi and his megalomania, then I can only pity such blindness and irrationality."
